Our brand’s founder and CEO, Tanzeem Fakir is a pharmacist, with a combined career spanning over 30 years in both the pharmaceutical and skincare industries. She owned and managed a skin laser clinic in Cape Town for over a decade along with dedicating years to researching and addressing common skin challenges. Due to the limitations of available skincare and topical pharmaceuticals in terms of efficacy, practicality, affordability and tolerability, she embarked on a journey of formulating and developing her own skincare brand. The brand focuses on uneven skin tone, ageing and acne prone/ comedogenic skin.
In her experience she noted that most people defaulted on skincare regimens due to lack of efficacy, complicated regimens and unaffordability. Consistency is key in maintaining the skin over the long term and therefore, a regimen must be simple, effective, safe and affordable. Daily long term maintenance of the skin is far better than aggressive, short term options.
Our website offers a free consultation form which when completed, offers our clients the opportunity to receive professional advice on their specific skin requirements. This advice extends over and above our product recommendations. We believe educating our clients on their skin including the do’s and don’ts form part of the success in achieving a healthier skin. We offer tips as well advice on other skin interventions and products outside our brand’s offering as we believe that each individual’s skin requirements are different and therefore, require an individually tailored approach.
